Evaluation Services
Specializing in ADHD and autism assessment, I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations tailored to meet the unique needs of adults exploring their mental health. Evaluations may also include assessment for diagnostic clarification, differential diagnosis, mood/anxiety diagnostic assessment, OCD assessment, cognitive/intellectual assessment, or second opinions. Each evaluation includes testing, scoring, a written report, an intake, and feedback session.
Evaluations may be conducted in person, via telehealth, or through a hybrid format, depending on the type of evaluation and individual clinical needs. Hybrid evaluations typically include one in-person testing day for standardized assessment and, when indicated, cognitive testing. Some evaluations, such as Telehealth ADHD Diagnostic Evaluations, may be completed fully via telehealth when clinically appropriate. Autism evaluations generally include an in-person component, although some appointments may be conducted remotely. Cognitive testing and some other forms of assessment are conducted in person only.

ADHD Diagnostic Evaluation
Comprehensive assessment of attention, executive functioning, and related mental health concerns in adults

Includes intake session, clinical interview, standardized testing & ADHD rating scales, review of developmental and functional history, written diagnostic report, feedback session, & recommendations

Includes cognitive testing as clinically indicated

Assesses co-occurring conditions if indicated
Telehealth ADHD Diagnostic Evaluation
Comprehensive diagnostic evaluation for ADHD in adults conducted entirely via secure telehealth. This option may be appropriate when the referral question and individual clinical needs can be adequately addressed using remote assessment methods.

Includes intake session, standardized ADHD rating scales, review of developmental and functional history, written diagnostic report, feedback session, & recommendations

If broader cognitive or diagnostic questions emerge, cognitive or other testing may be recommended separately. Cognitive testing is conducted in-person only and would be scheduled as an additional session if needed
Comprehensive assessment of autism spectrum and related mental health concerns

Meet Dr. Axel
I am committed to helping adults navigate the unique challenges associated with exploring possible ADHD, autism, or other diagnoses in adulthood. As a clinical psychologist experienced in comprehensive psychological evaluations, my primary goal for an evaluation is to help you better understand yourself and your experience, as well as to provide individualized clinical recommendations.
My approach to evaluations is rooted in empathy and respect, as well as research- and evidence-based assessment and diagnosis. I am dedicated to providing a neurodiversity-affirming evaluation and testing environment.
